Brad Bullington joined Seagate in 2006 through the acquisition of Maxtor Corp., a digital storage component and solutions provider. As the driver of the strategic planning process at Seagate, he is responsible for working with Executive management to define, manage and adjust Seagate’s long-term strategy.
Brad’s function plays a key role in defining strategic investment priorities and requirements, adjacent market opportunity identification and strategy development, product portfolio optimization, as well as identification of organic and inorganic (M&A) growth and capability requirements.
Prior to joining Seagate, Brad held several Strategy & Corporate Development roles at Maxtor. Most recently, he was a member of the founding leadership team of Maxtor’s Brand Products Group (BPG), the industry leader in the external storage solutions market.
Before focusing on the high tech industry, Brad was a management consultant for A.T. Kearney, where he served a range of clients focused on issues of strategy and operations in the high-tech (hardware and software), aerospace, retail and financial services industries. Brad began his professional services career at Deloitte & Touche.
Brad received his B.A. in Business Administration, with a Certificate of International Studies in Business, from the University of Washington.
