Chris Hummel has a 20+-year career in enterprise sales and marketing and is a globally-recognized thought leader and widely-respected senior executive in the technology industry.
Reporting directly to the CEO of Siemens Enterprise Communications, Chris serves as President of the North American Region and Chief Commercial Officer. In his capacity as President of the North American Region, he has full profit and loss responsibility for the United States and Canada, as well as product and service delivery for all customer categories. In addition, as Chief Commercial Officer, he is responsible for Global Marketing and Corporate Development. His priorities include expanding the company’s market presence, building the brand and accelerating growth through strategic M&A opportunities.
Before joining Siemens Enterprise Communications, Chris served as Executive Vice President of Global Field Marketing for SAP AG, where he managed an organization of more than 600 people that annually generated more than 7 billion US-Dollars in qualified opportunities. Prior to SAP, Chris spent 13 years at Oracle Corporation in a number of senior sales, services and marketing roles.
Chris Hummel is a true international executive, having lived, worked, and successfully led organizations around the globe, including the US, Germany, Eastern Europe and Asia. As such, he is fluent in a number of languages. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University and a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He also studied at Durham University (UK) and the London Business School.
